Awesome - changed plastering completely

Wow, first time using a sponge float. Applied two coats of plaster “multi finish”, got it there or thereabouts, wet the sponge float and run with light to moderate pressure across the wall, and around the wall edges. If it drags clean and keep wet. Really does get walls flatter.Don’t be bullish with it, let the sponge glide across and do the work, as noted keep clean and wet. Found applying when you can still make finger prints in the plaster the right time to float.

Rubbish the sponge becomes detached from the body after a short period of being used

This is the 4th one ive bought this year . Will not be getting any more

Very useful

When you're a not very good plasterer like me then this is a life saver. Just wet the plaster, go over it with the sponge till it's flat, then trowel out the sponge lines. Well worth the cost IMHO.
