The PLAZIFLEX Foam Backed 1.0mm Flexiback Black Skimming Trowel is REFINA’s ultra-flex finishing trowel engineered for the final stages of plastering. Designed with a premium 1.0mm black plastic blade and a FLEXIBACK® foam layer, it offers exceptional flexibility across the blade width while maintaining stability along the length. This gives smooth, flat results with minimal effort.

The 1.0mm variant is the most flexible in the Plaziflex range, making it ideal for final smoothing, tight finishing, skim coats, and polishing in without leaving lines. The lightweight blade reduces strain during long sessions, helping relieve common joint and shoulder fatigue compared to heavier steel trowels.

Its two-part design uses a detachable REFINA 8" midget trowel that slots securely into the Flexiback blade, allowing fast blade changes or replacements. With less drag than traditional steel trowels, you can work plaster earlier and finish sets sooner, especially when paired with a REFINA water brush for removing imperfections.
