Skimflex Ultraflex Skimming Tool – Flexible Wall & Ceiling Finishing Spatula

This was bought to skim concrete as large area's being laid, the wide blade quite inflexible but does not like gravel too much so all had to be skimmed first using a normal 12" flat trowl before use, this wide blade then used to fill undulations left by smaller trowl, did leave a good even flat surface but plenty of practice required to achieve good results.For plaster work this again does give a good finish, the large width again requires a lot fo practice to get used to but the item itself of nice construction with a well finished blade, the difference achieved with this blade a flatter surface on large area's.

I bought it to smooth a ceiling, after a repair, as it was wide in two passes, you couldn't see where the repair was. After drying, a third pass was made and the ceiling was as smooth as glass. It's not light as a feather, but it gets the job done.
