Plastic faced trowels are used for finishing top coat renders made from cement based products, silicone or acrylic coloured coatings or internal decorative coatings. The trowels can differ by grain size and flexibility and are useful for avoiding surface discolouration and blade transference that is commonly associated with the use of steel trowels.
